Inspection Trips - Trips designed to help you find your perfect property

Once you make contact with a property professional you like and find property/properties that match your requirements you can arrange an inspection trip to Cyprus.

Inspection trips are a time and cost effective way to view properties that you are interested in. The whole trip will be planned around your requirements. They often last up to 4 days:

Day 1
Arrival at Cyprus airport where you will get picked up by the property professional and transported to your accommodation. Accommodation is normally booked by the agent as well as your return flight.

Day 2 and 3
The property professional will pick you up from your hotel and take you to view properties. Some agents can also arrange for you to meet a financial advisor or solicitor although you can arrange that yourself if you decide to use an independent professional. (Which I suggest!)

Most professionals will also show you the local area, highlight any points of interest and take you out for traditional Cypriot cuisine.

Day 4
Usually a happy departure as many people find and reserve a property of their dreams. Knowing you've secured your perfect overseas home, it's only a matter of time before you're back in Cyprus soaking up the great weather and laid back lifestyle!

Some agents also include meals in the price of an inspection trip. The prices of inspection trips vary. There are companies that even offer “free” trips. However, they will eventually have to cover the cost of the trip in other way so keep that in mind.

For exact conditions and destription of a trip, please, talk to your agent.

Please, bare in mind that inspection trips are offered only for serious buyers and it's not a mini-holiday.

Tips:

  • Before you book your Inspection Trip, make sure that you are comfortable with the agent you are dealing with and that he/she is being helpful and is HONESTLY answering all your questions.
  • Do some research to make sure that the property professional is reputable and ask for testimonials
  • If you feel you are being put under too much of pressure to book Inpsection Trip - DON'T DO IT. This is only an indication of what's to come on your trip!
  • You should not be put under pressure to use the property professional solicitor

  • - in fact, if you are are not given the option to use your own solicitor RUN THE OTHER WAY!
  • Ensure that the agent responds to you in a timely manner. LISTENS to what you say and gives you confidence that they are sincerely here to help you.
  • All estate agents list the exact same properties and developments at the same prices. It's more important to find a good agent that is legal, helpful and gives you a good gut feeling.
