Solicitors - There are many solicitors in Cyprus that work for the developer or agent rather than YOU - their client. One of the most crucial steps with buying in Cyprus is to ensure that your solicitor protects you, your assets and your investment. DO NOT use the solicitor that your developer/agent recommend as they are often not independent. Please believe me when I say this! At least once per week, I have someone writing me who needs to change their solicitor and it's not straight forward...further, money is unnecessarily wasted!
